The map leads players from wild, dynamic oceans deep into a gigantic underwater city. Atlantis aims to perfect water gameplay that has always felt somewhat underdeveloped in ARK.​

Jeremy Stieglitz confirmed: The map will be developed by modder Nekatus, known for his top-tier designs. His creations like Astra Eos are considered milestones in the ARK modding scene.​

Nekatus and the Atlantis Question

Nekatus himself clarified: Wildcard approached him and he’s generally interested. His full focus remains on completing Astra Eos by at least 2026 – buyers of that map will get a fully fleshed-out world.​

Atlantis remains exciting speculation, but with Nekatus on board it would be the crown jewel of water ARK.
