ARK: Survival Ascended Lost Colony receives its first massive update fixing balance, progression, and numerous bugs. Based on early player feedback, this patch lays the foundation for weekly improvements.​

Balance Changes That Actually Improve Fun

The most important gameplay adjustments at a glance:

Resource Caches (nobody wanted to farm them):

• Waves reduced from 5 to 3

• Neofights removed

• Enemy XP multiplied by 5

• Cache heals 20% after each wave

• Higher chances for arctic armor & Fabricated weapons​

Osidon Taming (finally doable):

• Osidon heals to 100% health after each phase

• Timer scales with server Taming Speed multiplier​

Fabricated Crossbow (no more breakage frustration):

• Sniper damage +33%

• Durability +50%​

Holo Decoy: Cost reduced by 30%, no more black powder required​

Massive Bugfix Marathon

Dozens of fixes address the biggest player pain points:

• Player inventory no longer disappears on Pry teleport

• Terminal access works for everyone

• Aureliax no longer blocks Skygate projectiles​

• Savin/Maywin get correct Imprint bonus

• Beavers & beaver dams finally spawn on Lost Colony

• Minibosses no longer stretch dinos/FRs

• Better spawn points (no more snow-ass spawns)

• City spawn no longer prioritized
