Server Admin UI

Server Admin UI

The Server Admin UI allows you to manage your server through a nice in-game menu instead of the console. To open it, open up the ingame conosle and authenticate by typing

enablecheats YourAdminPassword

afterwards you can open up the Server Admin UI by entering

ShowMyAdminManager

The window to the left allows you to see the server settings. Those are editable in your Server-INI.

The middle one displays all connected players. Their survivor name and their level are shown, as well as their Steam Name. You can use the same menu to kick, ban or whitelist players. The “message”-input allows you to broadcast a message to the entire server.

The Cheat-Manager will allow you to execute the cheat of your choice.

If the UI isn’t to your liking, you might be interested in our tutorial on server administration via RCON.

  1. This does not show me how to use anything.
This merely is a statement that it exists.
I appreciate your hard work updating your site so quickly as the update just came out, but i have numerous unanswered questions.
When i click execute for any cheat, even one as simple as inf stats, it pops up asking for parameters? what do i type here? How do i specify how much exp it gives me? How do i enable Rcon? I tried your suggestion for mrcon i downloaded it and tried connecting it just said connection failed. can you link to a good tut for mrcon or give us a brief exp on how to do this for ark?

    1. this is a news of “it’s there” not a tutorial. It’s not in the tutorial category and it has not “tutorial” written on it. So dunno why you think this news does explain this feature in detail…

    2. it pops up asking for parameters? what do i type here? How do i specify how much exp it gives me?

Those parameters depend on the command you enter. Simply look them up in our Command-List.

How do i enable Rcon? I tried your suggestion for mrcon i downloaded it and tried connecting it just said connection failed.

mcrcon is quite intuitive. Simply use the launch.bat and it’ll ask you for the important connection data. If it then says connection failed, either the data you entered is wrong, your firewall blocks the request or the server doesn’t actually listen to RCON requests.

  2. Uhh Idk where to put this exactly but I was looking for directions on how to use all the commands like the first guy was.. They are NOWHERE on the internet. LITERALLY NO WHERE!!! I don’t know what half the commands in the UI do and none of the command lists even have them on there…… Also the right side in game for me at least shows a Cheat Manger not a Cheat Manager.. Please use spell check guys.. The frikkin game is already out and it uses improper language.
